Ice Storm/Have Power

Well we continued to have power when everyone else around us was losing it! My parents have been without it since early Monday morning. They have heat thanks to back up generators, but nothing else so the nighttime is hard! We lost power early Tues morning and we couldn't really go back to sleep because you could here everything falling on or off the house so we decided to get a hotel because we were not sure how long we would be without electricity. Well we couldn't check in until 3:00 and Raelynn needed a nap so we all bundled up in thick clothes and cuddled together in our bed and took a nap and I was surprised at how warm we stayed! So after we got up from our nap we were all packed to go to the hotel and by the grace of God our electricity came back on! So we were still able to cancel our hotel room and our electricity has been working ever since! This storm has been so bad for so many people as there are still thousands without power and it could still be days without it! We have no electricity at work so I have been off work all week! I am so ready to get back to work! Well we are expected to have a snowstorm this weekend of 4-6 inches! Let's hope that everyone has power back up by then! We have had a really good winter so far and then boom this all hits! Well please keep everyone without power in your thoughts and prayers as it is all in his hands!
